Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ENP America Inc. (“ENP America,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, view a personalized solar report we prepared for your property (including reports reached by scanning a QR code on our mail), request an estimate, or communicate with us.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details — such as your name, phone number, and email address when you request a callback, estimate, or appointment.
- Home and energy details — such as your monthly electric bill amount, planned purchases (for example an electric vehicle or heat pump), and answers you give about your home and timeline.
- Utility bill uploads — if you choose to upload a copy of your electric bill, we store it securely and use automated document reading to extract your billing amount and energy usage so we can calculate accurate savings. Bill files are kept private, are accessible only to authorized ENP America personnel and the contracted service providers that process them for us, and are never used for advertising. Our document-reading provider processes bill files solely to extract billing values. When our account uses the provider’s paid API service, the provider states that prompts, responses and uploaded files are not used to improve or train its products. The provider may retain this information for up to 55 days for safety, abuse monitoring, and required legal or regulatory purposes.
Information about your property
To prepare a personalized solar report we use your property address together with information from a range of sources, which may include: public records; property-data providers; mailing-list providers; our campaign partners; our existing customer and lead records; and mapping, satellite, and solar-analysis providers such as Google (including roof size, orientation, and sun exposure).
Information collected automatically
When you view a personalized report we collect usage information such as which sections you view, buttons you tap, approximate time on page, device type, and language. We use browser storage on your device to remember values you entered (like a typed bill amount) so they are still there if you return; this expires automatically and you can clear it with the report’s “Start over” option. We do not place bill amounts or contact details inside our analytics.
For security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting, we temporarily process technical request information, including your IP address. For rate limiting, the IP address is converted into a temporary coded identifier (a keyed hash) that automatically expires within approximately 24 hours. Raw IP addresses are not placed in our report analytics.
How we use information
- To prepare, deliver, and update your personalized solar report and savings calculations;
- To schedule and confirm appointments and respond to your requests;
- With your consent, to contact you by phone call, text message (SMS), and email about your requested report, bill review, and appointment;
- With your separate optional consent, to send occasional promotional communications about solar, battery, roofing, and related energy services;
- To operate, secure, and improve our services, including preventing abuse; and
- To comply with legal obligations.
Text messages (SMS)
If you consent to text messages: message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can reply STOP at any time to cancel or HELP for help. Messages may be sent using automated technology to the number you provide.
Browser privacy signals and third-party tracking
Our website and personalized reports do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers — no Google Analytics, no Meta (Facebook) Pixel, no advertising cookies, and no session replay tools. Measurement of report usage is performed with our own first-party system as described above, and personalized report pages use browser storage rather than cookies. Because we do not engage in cross-context behavioral tracking, our sites respond to all visitors the same way regardless of “Do Not Track” or similar browser signals — there is no cross-site tracking to disable.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not share personal information from personalized solar reports for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us operate — for example website and database hosting, mapping and solar-analysis providers, automated document reading for bills you upload, print-and-mail vendors, and phone/text/email delivery services — under obligations to protect it, and with authorities where the law requires. If our business is ever sold or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction under this policy’s protections.
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed based on these criteria: delivering the services you requested (including your solar report and savings calculations); scheduling and completing appointments; maintaining records of your consent and opt-out preferences (which we keep so we can honor them); protecting the security of our services; resolving disputes; and meeting legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed under these criteria, we delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls and private storage for uploaded documents. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Opt out anytime: you may opt out of promotional communications by replying STOP to text messages, using the unsubscribe method provided in a promotional email, or contacting us. When promotional email is offered, each message will include an available opt-out method. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect service messages you have requested.
- Access, correction, deletion: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us at info@enpamerica.com or (888) 488-5234. To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity and your connection to the property before acting on a request, and permitted legal and operational exceptions may apply (for example, records we must keep for consent, security, dispute, or accounting purposes). California residents may exercise applicable privacy rights the same way; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
Children
Our services are directed to homeowners and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update this page and its effective date. Consent records always store the exact wording you agreed to at the time.
